Overview

Cellular is a flexible, wireless solution for connecting System Managers and Users to their Access Control System.

While the eVolve Series has built-in Cellular compatibility, The optional DKS Cellular™ Control Box provides Voice communication to all other DKS Entry Systems* through a cellular network, much like a mobile phone. The Cellular connection also enables completely remote programming for DKS Entry Systems in the 1830 Series and Access Plus Series using one of the DKS Easy Connect Programming options. The Cellular Connection Box is easy to install and sets up with instant access. Cellular is the perfect option for locations that do not have access to an internet line and don’t want to dig a trench to add one, properties with remote access points, or users who want to update from their original POTS connection – plus, it’s more affordable than a traditional business line. IMPORTANT! This cellular connection CANNOT BE USED FOR 911 CALLS!
The DKS Cellular Control Box operates on the AT&T 4G-LTE cellular network (where available), and as such, a monthly subscription fee applies (just like your cell phone). The DKS Cellular service provides very competitive monthly rates for your cellular service and is available in all states including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and all U.S. Territories, Canada, and Mexico.

The DKS Cellular Control Box may not be compatible with some older Telephone Entry Systems without a circuit board upgrade for the Entry System. Find a DKS Dealer to understand your Cellular Retrofit options.

*Excludes the 1816 Intercom System.

Select your service level at the time of registration: Voice only, Data only or Voice and Data.
AT&T 4G-LTE network (where available).
Provides telephone and programming connections for two (2) DKS entry systems.
16 VAC input power (transformer provided).
1800-080: For use with 1800 and 1830 Series systems.
1800-081: For use with Access Plus systems – Use the DoorKing Access Plus Programming software to program the entry system, version 1.07.A or higher.
Require registration and subscription fee on the DKS Cellular network.

Note: DKS Cellular devices cannot be used for 911 calls. DKS Cellular control boxes may not be compatible with older telephone entry systems. Using a cellular control box on an older system may require a circuit board upgrade for the telephone entry system.

VOICE & DATA (PROGRAMMING)

Models 1800-080 and 1800-081 are a fully capable cellular interface that provides both voice communication and programming via the AT&T 4G-LTE Cellular network.
DKS Cellular service will “push” the programming data directly from the browser based DKS Cloud Account Manager (or from a dedicated computer through the desktop Remote Account Manager software) to the entry system via the cellular network.
Use the 1800-080 with the following DoorKing entry systems: 1833, 1834, 1835, 1837, 1838.
Use the 1800-081 with the following DoorKing entry systems: 1802AP, 1808AP, 1810AP, 1812AP, 1838AP, 1802, 1803, 1808, 1810, 1812.

AT&T 4G LTE NETWORK

Both cellular models operate on the AT&T 4G-LTE cellular network (where available).
A monthly subscription fee applies, just like your cell phone. DKS Cellular service provides very competitive monthly rates for your cellular service.
DKS Cellular service is available in all states including Alaska and Hawaii. It is also available in Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories, Canada and Mexico.
DKS Cellular service is not available in other countries.
