8310-805C Door Position Switch (Concealed), 8310-845 Programmable Relay Module (Used with Senior Swing only)

 

The 8310-3883 is a safety sensor package for a single door.  It is required with LCN 4600, Benchmark, Falcon, and Pneumatic operators when an approach side Door Mount Safety Sensor will be used. 

The purpose of this package is to inhibit the DMSS while the door is closed. This way, activation's are not sent to the operator from the sensor if it happens to see someone pass in front of the door. The DMSS becomes active once an activation from an actuator is sent, and the DMSS will not become inhibited again until the concealed DPS becomes connected again once the door fully shuts.
